French Art Deco Brandy Vintage Poster for ‘Cherry Maurice Chevalier’ by Roger de Valerio, 1934
The inimitable Maurice Chevalier, known for his oozing charm and slanted hat, lending his name to Cherry Brandy Liquor. Maurice, dressed in a blue & black tuxedo, balancing two items. In one hand, he’s holding a basket brimming with red cherries, and in the other, a bottle of cherry brandy with his name on the label. In the background, yellows and sunshine highlights are bordered with a green outer cast. The title font is in all caps, slanted along the bottom in light burgundy & black.
