This is an advertising poster for the French Operetta called ‘Claudine’. On the left you’ll see snails climbing up from the books, and Claudine surveying the other characters in an orange checkered skirt (and black coat). She was brought to Paris by her preoccupied father (pictured in Yellow).
Operetta written by the great French writer Collette.
