La belle Epoque

French Operetta Advertising Poster for ‘Mam’zelle Boy-Scout’ by H. Gray, 1900’s

$495.00

Music by Gustave Goublier.

There has been much speculation about H. Gray’s identity, but it is certain that H. Gray is a pseudonym of the Parisian caricaturist Boulanger.

The central figure of the poster in high-heeled pumps stands out in a good deal of space, while the artist has managed to include several incidents of the plot in light, detailed, sketches.
