French PLM Travel Poster ‘Les Fumades (Gard)’ by Morel de Tanguy, 1920s
SOLD
Out of stock
A travel poster by PLM (Paris Lyon Mediterranean) railroad company to Allger-les-Fumades, a retreat community in the Gard department in the South of France (more specifically the Occitanie Region in the department of Gard).
As seen in the poster, a lovely young lady relaxes on a wicker bentwood rocking chair. In front of her on a side table lies a plate of lemon and a decanter of Zoe water (printed on the decanter). Zoe’s known for it’s healthy water. She’s clearly enjoying a gorgeous view of the mountains and the neighboring communities on the side of the mount.
The image is bordered in plum/eggplant. You’ll notice palm trees in the garden, a gazebo and other shrubbery throughout.
