“Mediterranean New York”
A freight line / Cargo ship on the Mediterranean from France to the US.  Notice, the arrow (creatively made out of the French flag and the American flag) on top of the blue background.

Fabre line (aka Francais de Navigation a Vapeur Cyprien Fabre & Company) was a French shipping line that began service with small sailing ships, and was incorporated in 1881.

In 1911, Fabre line steamships started offering Transatlantique service.

It continued service until 1933 as the only service from the Translatlantique to New England, where it then changed its name.

The company eventually sold its last 2 cargo ships M.S. Joliet & M.S. Frontenac, in 1979.
