French Venice Simplon Travel Poster to ‘Milano’ by Fix-Masseau, 1982
SOLD
Out of stock
The original route stopped serving trains all the way to Istanbul in 1977. This new route served only from 1982-2005. The new route was from London to Venice.
Milano was the stop prior to Venice. You’ll notice two doves kissing in front of the Galleria Victorio Emanuele II (high end shopping mall next to the train station). This is Italy’s oldest active shopping mall, constructed in 1865 in Piazza del Duomo.
