Hurtu, Hutin & Diligeon (the manufactures) featured this new type of bicycle in the World’s Fair 1889 in Paris. Pictured is a gentlemen holding a map, taking a journey with his brand new bicycle.
The bike manufacturers left empty space at the bottom of the poster for the local Cycle dealers to print their names. In this poster, the local store name (Eugene Boitard) is stenciled in. In the background is a body of water located somewhere in the countryside.
