French Vintage Music Hall Poster ‘Walhalla’ by Dupuis, c.1900

Pictured is an elegantly dressed woman, plume and all, spectating a crazy Christmas-themed sight.

The ‘window’ that she views this mayhem from is bordered by a very art nouveau frame.  You can’t help but notice the smirk on her face.

After looking closely, you’ll see that the crowd is entirely made of Santa-like elfs preparing for the holiday festivities (drinking, mixing, etc).  On the back balcony is a band of Santas; brass, strings, and even an orchestrator.  On the top left is an array of angelic women in gowns, with one single woman overlooking the whole picture.  She’s holding the leaf of a palm tree.
