Italian Advertising Poster for ‘Falco Pedemonte & Bischoff’ Candles, 1900s

This is an Art Nouveau period Italian label for the Falco Pedemonte & Bischoff company from the 1900s. It is a wonderfully dynamic and colorful poster that features three distinct panels: the center panel is oriented vertically, while the two matching panels flanking it on either side are oriented horizontally. The swooping lines and radiating colors of this Art Nouveau period label were clearly an inspiration to the psychedelic concert posters of the 1960’s for bands like The Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane. This Falco Pedemonte & Bischoff original label is timeless and a wonderful example of the Italian Art Nouveau period.
This original lithographic label was printed by Stab d’Arti Grafiche A. Bertarelli & Ci Milano, 1900s.
