Italian Vintage Pastry Shop Poster for ‘Balzola | Baci Di Alassio’, 1955

Baci di Alassio (literally meaning “Kisses from Alassio”) is named as such because of the way sweet pastries are made – pairs of cookies with a touch of filling to connect them as if they are kissing.

This romantic image shows a beautiful couple kissing under the moonlight as they sit alongside the seaside with mountains in the background, and palm trees on the right.

This single item can be purchased Framed or Unframed.

This framed vintage poster includes custom conservation framing: this consists of UV blocking plexiglas; Artcare archival foam board backing; Artcare archival 6 ply acid free mat; Dark Walnut hand finish frame with hand leafed gold color lip & Gold color ornamental corners. The frame is in excellent condition, but it is not new.

This framed vintage poster was purchased from a previous customer who framed it with La Belle Epoque. If you purchase this item Framed (as opposed to Unframed), the difference in price is solely from the cost of Crating & Shipping.

 

This framed item requires constructing a wooden crate for shipping. This takes time (between 10-14 days prior to shipping). We appreciate your patience.
