Ruffino is a major winery that was founded near Florence, Italy in 1877. It is still tasted and appreciated throughout the world. These wines were given medals that established Ruffino’s global reputation as well as the 1890 parchment issued by the Duke of Aosta, appointing Ruffino as the official supplier to the Italian royal Family.
This poster is attributed to Leopoldo Metlicovitz (unsigned).
This charming poster depicts cherubs clutching white and red bunches of grapes. You could also see the raffia wrapped bottle of wine in the lower left corner.
