Vintage Movie Poster for ‘The Real Gentleman (Ukrainian Release)’, 1928
SOLD
Out of stock
This is an originally American movie previously titled ‘The Perfect Gentleman’, a silent movie. The lead actor was Monte Banks.
In the Russian/Ukrainian Releases the title was changed to its literal translation ‘The Real Gentleman’.
At the end of 20s, Stalin was interfering with Ukrainian Independence. The Soviet Regime started repurposing American movies in the native language. The profits were then likely used on different Soviet Propaganda Movies.
This poster is very similar to Avant-Garde heroes ‘the Stenberg Brothers’. You can read more about these posters here.
